What are the IELTS requirements for the University of Birmingham?

The university divides its language requirements into tiers. For most standard undergraduate and postgraduate courses, you will need an overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no band below 6.0. However, if you are applying for competitive tracks like Law, Medicine, or English Literature, the bar is raised to an overall 7.0.
